• Account and reconciliation inputs you upload or enter (e.g., transaction records, references, and related metadata needed for reconciliation).
• Online identifiers and usage data collected through cookies or similar technologies, which may be treated as personal information or “personally related information” under Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
• Contact and account information you provide to use the service.

2. Purpose of processing

We process information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the reconcpay.quest software; to perform reconciliation workflows you request; to prevent fraud and unauthorized access; to comply with applicable legal obligations; and to understand site usage for service improvement.

3. Security measures

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, logging/monitoring, and secure configuration practices.

Note: No system can guarantee absolute security. You should use reasonable safeguards on your devices and credentials.

4. Sharing and disclosures

We may share information with service providers acting on our instructions (e.g., hosting, support, or security operations) and, where required, disclose information to comply with laws or lawful requests. If cookies/online identifiers are treated as personal information or “personally related information,” we provide appropriate notices and, where applicable, a suitable consent/appropriate basis for sharing under the applicable requirements.

• You may request access, correction, deletion, or other rights where applicable under Japan’s APPI.

If your use or contract arrangement is treated as “specified commercial transactions” or related mail-order-style transactions under Japan law, required advertisement/contract information will be included in our offer materials.
